UNC Board of Trustees approves tuition increase for out-of-state students, fee increases for all

The changes, which still must be approved by the UNC System Board of Governors, include increases of 5% for out-of-state tuition, 5% for student housing fees, and a total of 6.5% for meal plans.

Alleged antisemitic incident prompts response from Panhellenic Council

The UNC Panhellenic Council – which oversees sororities – says it’s saddened and disheartened by an antisemitic incident involving one of its chapters. The Council is not releasing details about what happened or who was involved. But several students say somebody associated with a sorority posted a swastika on social media.
