As NC residents wait for medical marijuana legalization, some are turning to alternative drugs

North Carolina residents would be able to buy medical marijuana under a bill the state Senate passed in March. The proposal still needs to be approved by the House. But in the meantime, some people are turning to hemp products with similar effects that are already legal but less regulated.
