UNC assists in Hurricane Matthew cleanup

It’s been just over a month since Hurricane Matthew hit North Carolina. Though the storm itself is a thing of the past, its effects are still being felt by many rural North Carolina areas as they struggle to recover from the damages.

Gavin Smith is the director of the Coastal Resilience Center of Excellence and a professor at UNC. He joins us to talk about the Hurricane Matthew clean up.
