Climate report sparks debate in Chapel Hill, elsewhere

An international group of scientists commissioned by the United Nations says they are more certain than ever that humans are changing the Earth’s climate.

According to the group, the climate change resulting from human activities is bringing about warmer temperatures and melting glaciers. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released their newest report September 27, and the debate over its findings has begun.
