Dean Smith recognized for diversity support

Carolina is lucky enough to have one of the most successful and storied college basketball programs in the country.

Former Tar Heel Head Coach Dean Smith is responsible for much of that success — winning two national championships at UNC and 879 total games in his illustrious career.

As he gets older, the Hall of Famer is being recognized not only for what he did on the court, but what he did off of it as well.
