Who profits from NCAA merchandise?

One of the biggest sports stories this summer involved Heisman winning quarterback Johnny Manziel and the debate over student athletes and merchandise sales.

At UNC, the student store still sells jerseys and clothing with players’ numbers on them. And it’s raising some questions as to who profits from these sales.
