UNC football player Bruce Carter faced possible suspension before the game against LSU Sept. 4. Carolina Connection gave Carter an audio recorder as he waited the night before to hear if he could play.
During the past few years, the number of mopeds on campus has spiked, according to the UNC Public Safety Department. Students said they are fun and efficient.
UNC’s finest musicians spend countless hours practicing riffs and scales in the bottom of Hill Hall. The basement is divided into small practice rooms separated by cinder block walls and wooden doors that are far from sound-proof.
Some students wonder if the reputation of the University’s spots programs is tarnished. Others don’t care about what the football players do as long as they win on Saturdays.
Thirteen players graduated last spring, leaving big shoes for young recruits to fill. Coaches have confidence in their recruitment process, and the team has maintained it’s number one preseason spot.
The Silly Bandz craze has come to Carolina. Some students can be seen wearing the uniquely shaped silicone bracelets around campus and the bands fly off counters at UNC student stores.
