Making music despite practice room madness

UNC’s finest musicians spend countless hours practicing riffs and scales in the bottom of Hill Hall. The basement is divided into small practice rooms separated by cinder block walls and wooden doors that are far from sound-proof. Some improvements have been made, including the addition of more stands, mirrors and fresh paint, but some musicians say that’s not enough.
