Matt Krantz was the only UNC student to perform during the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival as a stand-up comedian.

Frisbee. Not the first thing that pops into most people’s heads when they think “team sport.” But on many area campuses Frisbee is a competitive tournament game.

They’re among the most conspicuous fans at every UNC football game — the enthusiastic fans who sit in the stands with their bodies covered in Carolina Blue paint.

Most people who live in Chapel Hill or have walked down Franklin Street are well aware of the number of homeless in the area. Many of them live day by day trying to make ends meet. Reporter Reema Khrais follows one homeless man around to get a glimpse of a day in his life.

During the past few years, the number of mopeds on campus has spiked, according to the UNC Public Safety Department. Students said they are fun and efficient.

The Silly Bandz craze has come to Carolina. Some students can be seen wearing the uniquely shaped silicone bracelets around campus and the bands fly off counters at UNC student stores.
