World AIDS Day turns 25 years old

Dec. 1 is the 25th annual World AIDS Day. It’s the longest awareness and prevention day of its kind in public health.

Since 1987, it has resulted in billions of dollars in support for research, treatment and prevention.

We’re joined by Jim Bunn, the co-founder of World AIDS day. He was the first head of communications for AIDS at the World Health Organization.
