Local residents do their part to save the bees

Now to a topic that has some in the Triangle buzzing. Bees are vitally important pollinators, responsible for 75 percent of the world’s food crops.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife service added seven species of yellow-face bee to the endangered species list last month, and while those species aren’t the same as our local honey bees, bees in this area face similar concerns. But there are some who are trying to help.
