Tornadoes, strong winds cap a winter of weird weather

This week, UNC students and others in the Triangle took cover from the threat of tornadoes. Those February thunderstorms aren’t the only weird weather North Carolinians have experienced this winter, ranging from temperatures in the 70s at Christmas, to ice and sleet in mid-January.

Beau Worley braved the elements to tell us why the weather is so weird.
