Foushee says Americans should be concerned by Elon Musk’s access to their information

Elon Musk, head of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, has seized information from the U.S. Treasury including financial and personal identifying information to stop payments from the United States Agency for International Development.

Musk has said it’s part of a larger effort to cut what he sees as waste and fraud and even criminal activity out of government. 

Publicly, the Treasury has said that Musk and DOGE just have read-only access, but Democratic lawmakers are still alarmed. Carolina Connections’

  3. Congresswoman Foushee, I’m happy to see what you’re doing to alert folks about Musk. Nevertheless I’d like to see memes that catch attention. E.g., t-shirts saying “Elon Musk Has Your Number.” Voters understand such memes better than any rhetoric.
