‘A reminder that these are your roots too’: the community celebrates Black History Month

Federal agencies like the Defense Department will no longer celebrate “identity months” like Black History Month, but Black educators and community figures are pushing to keep Black history alive year-round.

Carolina Connection’s Maya Hagan highlights those efforts.
