Two earthquakes struck Syria and Turkey Monday, killing more than 20,000 people. Groups across campus and the Chapel Hill community are raising funds for survivors, with one organization – the Bridge for Turkey – raising over three million dollars so far.

Gwen Sancar, co-founder of the Sancar Turkish Cultural and Community Center, talked with Carolina Connection’s Sophie Mallinson to discuss local efforts to raise these funds.
