“Wellness Day” one part of UNC’s response to mental health crises

Thursday, UNC will have its first spring wellness day. Classes will be canceled and professors aren’t allowed to give assignments or tests. Wellness days are just one of the mental health programs UNC has set in motion since last year, when the campus saw several mental health crises.

  1. Great comments and feedback were given by the students! There is so much pressure to get into and excell at these prestigious institutions and the colleges are overlooking the enormous weight this puts on a young adult! Proactivity is definitely the key to getting ahead of a crisis!
