Board of Governors says 2024 UNC System applicants can omit ACT/SAT scores

Students applying to colleges within the UNC System will not be required to submit SAT or ACT scores until at least Fall 2024. The Board of Governors voted to keep giving students the option to omit SAT and ACT scores in their applications. That extends a waiver that the Board has had in place since the beginning of the pandemic.
