After fatal Franklin St. accident, Chapel Hill discusses bike safety improvements

An electric cyclist lost his life in a traffic accident at a Franklin Street intersection in late January. The tragedy has sparked a debate around bike safety in Chapel Hill.

  1. Why don’t they paint the white bike lane markers on Franklin?
    It it alerts drivers to watch for bikes and give way.
