UNC students and faculty have begun to receive COVID booster shots

Many UNC students and faculty are planning to get COVID-19 booster shots.

The Food and Drug Administration authorized boosters for the Pfizer vaccine last month. Regulators are considering approving them for the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines as well. More of the general population may become eligible to receive them soon.
