For these students, a doughnut business is a matter of faith

Some people in Chapel Hill have fallen in love with a small, student-run donut business. NANDO’s Nuts started serving up donuts about a year ago, and hope to open a new location soon. 

But they’re not just selling sweet treats. They’re using their business to share their religious beliefs. And they’re donating some of their profits to a controversial group that says it’s fighting human trafficking.
