Some college students are excluded from government stimulus payments

The IRS recently started sending $1200 stimulus payments to qualifying Americans. That’s part of what’s included in the CARES act, which is designed to help citizens struggling financially during the coronavirus pandemic. However, the payments exclude some college students.
