Accreditation of UNC Hospital threatened after review

Within the next week or so, UNC hospital is expecting to learn whether it can keep its accreditation.  The hospital, which has been viewed as one of the nation’s leading medical institutions, was surprised when an accreditation agency issued a preliminary denial last month.
