Sustainable movement forces trendsetters to rethink their clothing habits

The fashion industry produces the second highest amount of pollution, only behind the oil industry. Local businesses and UNC students are working towards changing the way people think about their clothes.

They’re promoting the sustainable fashion mindset by using chalk to write startling fashion facts on the cement, hosting clothing swaps and recycling old clothes.
