Charlotte non-discrimination ordinance could affect local communities

Last month, the Charlotte City Council voted to expand the city’s controversial nondiscrimination ordinance to include the LGBTQ community. Shortly after, state legislative leaders promised to not only strike down the Charlotte ordinance, but also prevent other cities from doing the same thing. That could affect Triangle communities like Carrboro.
