Chapel Hill cemetery marker removed amid controversy

What began as a well-intentioned effort to recognize long-forgotten Chapel Hill residents is now the center of controversy. It concerns a new monument in the African-American section of Old Chapel Hill Cemetery that  was intended to mark more than 300 previously unmarked graves.
