Elimination of solar tax credit questioned

At the end of last year, the General Assembly decided not to extend a popular tax credit that encouraged growth in the North Carolina solar industry. Renewable energy advocates worry this will hurt the state’s growing solar sector, but others say playing favorites will be bad for consumers in the long run.
