Two of Franklin Street’s signature bars are facing serious legal problems after allegedly serving alcohol to minors. According to law enforcement, Former UNC student Chandler Kania visited both He’s Not Here and La Res and allegedly purchased alcohol July 19. That was just before he was involved in a fatal accident that killed three people. He faces second degree murder charges. The bars have been under strict scrutiny since then.
