Uber popular with students, not so popular with cab companies

Governor Pat McCrory signed a bill last Friday that regulates transportation in North Carolina for companies like Uber. The law sets new requirements for the booming transportation companies, like requiring background checks and minimum liability insurance for drivers. Even though Uber is insanely popular all over the world, not everyone in the Triangle is sold.
