Contextual grading debated at UNC

For most students one of their major concerns – other than hanging out with friends and going to basketball games – is their grades. UNC could be changing the way those grades are reported on student transcripts. After five years of research, the university may add things like class percentile rankings, the size of classes and median grades to transcripts.
