Composting program expands in UNC dorms

Composting at UNC has been gaining momentum. What began as a small project in UNC’s dining halls now includes 13 dorms, where students can compost their banana peels, apple corps, and old copies of the Daily Tar Heel. This week, four new residence halls joined the composting community.
