It’s been a little more than a month since UNC released the Wainstein report, which described in great detail the university’s decades-long academic fraud scandal. But now, UNC is being forced to answer more questions.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools – the group that controls UNC’s accreditation – has sent Chancellor Carol Folt a letter demanding answers to eighteen questions about the the athletics program, student records and the university’s integrity.
Folt released the letter yesterday afternoon (Nov. 21) at a Faculty Council meeting at Wilson Library.
