New food pantry aims to end student hunger

Education is expensive. Students and their families pay thousands of dollars for tuition, fees, books, and other school supplies. But a big part of the student budget is food. For some students paying for meals is a challenge.

At UNC, a student-run food pantry — Carolina Cupboard — is trying to help solve student hunger.
