Furry pals help solve crimes

The Chapel Hill Police Department has a very special, very furry division. The dogs of the K-9 unit support police with their snouts and their jaws. These canines may be able to bite on command and sniff out hiding suspects, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like being pet by people of all ages.

Rene Gupta caught up with K-9 handler Officer David Funk and his dog, Stitch.
