Not all the students who took the fraudulent classes were athletes, but about half of them were.

Investigator Kenneth Wainstein found that between 1999 and 2011, football players took 963 classes, mens basketball players took 226 and women’s basketball players took 114. Athletes from other sports enrolled in 568.

ESPN college sports analyst and former Duke basketball player Jay Bilas joined us to talk about the impact of the scandal on UNC athletics.
