Towing law continues to confuse

Parking in Chapel Hill and Carrboro can often be hard to find. And sometimes, it’s hard to know where you can park without being towed.

Both towns have updated their towing ordinances in the past few years after receiving complaints from citizens over towing companies acting unfairly. But it’s still not unusual for students to find an unpleasant surprise when they come back to where they left their cars.
