Last week, UNC lost beloved language professor and academic mentor Fred Clark. Clark helped lead the creation of the Carolina Covenant Scholars program, which provides funding and mentorship to students from low-income families.
Jess Clark sat down with Michael Highland, who worked closely with Clark on the Covenant Scholars program for nine years.
