Selfie use rising among females

Oxford Dictionaries’ word of the year in 2013 was selfie, “a photograph you take of yourself, typically with a smartphone.”

President Obama has taken them, David Letterman took one on his show and Ellen De-Generous did it at the Oscars. But some students at UNC are a little more hesitant about posting those pictures to Facebook and Instagram.
