UNC grad first in flight

Lindsey Jefferies, a recent UNC grad, is the first African-American female helicopter pilot in the North Carolina Army National Guard. As the first member of her family to attend college, Jefferies has always broken down barriers on her path to success.

Risi Ademola spent a day with Jefferies in Salisbury, N.C., to learn more about her journey.
