Duke considers dropping former governor’s name from dorm

Charles Aycock was Governor of North Carolina at the beginning of the 20th century.

At UNC and other colleges in the state, he’s honored with his name on campus buildings. But now some Duke students want to remove his name from their campus, because Aycock was a white supremacist.

Could a similar change be coming to UNC’s Aycock Hall?
