Moral Monday rallies have been going on for months in downtown Raleigh. Led by the NAACP, the marchers have been critical of Governor Pat McCrory and the Republican controlled legislature.
This morning they’re taking things up a notch, with thousands of activists from North Carolina and across the nation participating in an event called Historic Thousands on Jones Street or H-K on J.
This “Moral March” through downtown Raleigh to the General Assembly has busloads of Carolina students in attendance.
Joining us live on the scene is our reporter, Risi Ademola.
