Colleges prepare to protect students

Last week, there was a shooting or a gun scare on a high school or college campus every day, Monday through Friday. There were more than ten shootings or scares on campuses nationwide in January.

The trend of firearms being brought to schools is growing, and it’s causing officials on some local college campuses to make sure they are doing all they can to keep people safe.
