James credits high school coach for basketball success

With the Heels still missing suspended players P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald, it’s the young guys like Joel James who are stepping up this season.

James attributes his growth and dedication to his high school coach, Fred Ross at Dwyer High School in Florida, where he really learned how to play basketball.
