Tutor’s indictment revives athletic scandal

by Louis Fernandez

For most students currently enrolled at UNC, the Tar Heel football program has been constantly embroiled in scandal and controversy since the day they arrived for the start of freshman year.

This week the scandal took to the courtroom as former tutor Jennifer Wiley Thompson was indicted. She was released on a $15.000 bond. Wiley Thompson allegedly was a go-to between former Tar Heel wide receiver Greg Little and Georgia sports agent Terry Watson.

The search warrant charges that Little received over $20,000 from Watson.

Joining us is Daily Tar Heel Sports Editor Brooke Pryor to discuss this case.
