Entire program – May 3, 2013

On our final program of the school year, we review the top stories of the year and remember some of our favorite stories.  Among them:

– Forced into lives as modern-day slaves, human trafficking victims live in the shadows of many North Carolina communities.

– A child care center run by UNC’s Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute will be closing this summer after more than 40 years.

– Only a handful of UNC students choose not to own mobile phones, but they say there are ups and downs to their low-tech lifestyle.
