A nationally renowned writer stopped by UNC this week to share her work as part of a semi-annual poetry reading.

Mary Jo Salter, the author of six books of poetry and co-editor of the Norton Anthology of Poetry, read from her collection of new and old poems.

Kirsten Chang caught up with Salter to talk about her writing life.
