UNC defends controversial planning committee

Some students are criticizing the makeup of a recently-formed planning committee for lacking diversity and failing to represent the interests of people most impacted on UNC campuses.

UNC system President Tom Ross addressed these concerns at Thursday’s Board of Governors meeting.
