The Carolina family was struck by tragedy about a week ago when it lost one of its members. Nineteen year old Faith Hedgepeth was found dead in her home last Friday. No arrests have been made in the homicide investigation, and police have not announced the cause of death. At their request, the case’s documents have been sealed.
The UNC Board of Trustees has offered $25,000 to anyone who might have information that could lead to an arrest.
Faith, a biology major, was a member of the Haliwa-Saponi Tribe and of the Alpha Pi Omega sorority on campus.
