A UNC breakthrough on an icky subject

Scientists have the privilege to shape the way we think about everything from the cosmos to the smallest particles and everything in between. Like any field, however, there are some scientists who have to take the dirty jobs. A group from the UNC Chemistry Department and the UNC School of Medicine recently published a study that’s changing the way doctors think about mucus.
