Retiring track coach leaves large legacy

Track and field head coach Dennis Craddock is retiring after the 2012 season. His teams have won 45 ACC championships over his 27-year tenure at UNC.

To put that into perspective, that’s more than men’s basketball coach Dean Smith and woman’s soccer coach Anson Dorrance won…combined.
