Local businesses see slow spring break

Some Chapel Hill businesses are about to experience one of their most boring weeks during the school year, while many UNC students will enjoy one of their most exciting ones. Figured out the connection? It’s spring break, when UNC students leave en masse for a little fun at the beach, on the mountains, or even at home. But many local businesses rely on those students as customers and employees, especially on Franklin Street. For them, spring break means slow business.
